Synopsis

ONDC has been the talk of the town over the last few weeks with users comparing the prices of food items on Swiggy-Zomato with that on the government-backed platform. While ONDC can be a real challenger to the duopoly in food delivery, the question is whether these rates are sustainable. And more importantly, will Swiggy and Zomato hit back?

Amazon tried it. So did Ola. Multiple deep-pocketed companies have tried to enter the food-delivery business, but none has succeeded in challenging the Zomato-Swiggy duopoly.
