AgenciesWhile the sight of Avinash Singh Rathore, the superspy challenging India to produce a character certificate for him in the teaser has gone viral on social media, some fans have been distraught at the lack of any Emraan Hashmi scenes in the teaser. Hashmi, who plays the role of the antagonist has been conspicuously absent in the trailer.
Box-office tracker Sacnilk.com tweeted, “We have a bigger question than why Kattappa killed Baahubali! Emraan Hashmi hai kya Tiger 3 mein?” (Is Emraan Hashmi even there in the film)
A fan speculated that YRF (Yash Raj Films) may be saving the star’s scenes as a last-minute surprise. “Yrf saving emraan hashmi as tiger 3 best surprise, he gonna give his best performance,” he wrote.
Another quipped that Hashmi’s character has been hidden to such an extent that no one, not even his wife is aware that he is starring in the action extravaganza.
“Emraan Hashmi k character ko itna secret rakha hai yrf ne mujhe lagta hai Emraan ki biwi ko bhi pata nahi hoga ki Emraan bhi #Tiger3 me hone wale hain Hahahahaha,” reads the post.
'Kahaani' director Sujoy Ghosh was ecstatic at the sight of two guns in a jeep carrying Tiger. Sharing some stills from the teaser, the director tweeted, "Love love that there are two guns on the jeep…"
About ‘Tiger 3’
Helmed by Maneesh Sharma, ‘Tiger 3’ is an espionage thriller set after the events of ‘War’ (2017) and ‘Pathaan’ (2023). It is the third installment of YRF’s OG spy franchise after ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ (2012), and ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ (2017). Aside from Khan and Hashmi, the movie will also star Katrina Kaif, Ashutosh Rana, Revathi, Ranvir Shorey, Vishal Jethwa, and Riddhi Dogra. It will also feature Shah Rukh Khan in a special cameo as Pathaan.
