Atiq Ahmed murder case: UP Police submit report to SC claiming fair probe; highlight no fault of cops
Atiq Ahmed Murder Probe: The Uttar Pradesh police has filed a report in the Supreme Court, informing the Court that an inquiry into the encounter has found “no fault on the part of the police” and that it is “leaving no stone unturned to ensure a fair and impartial investigation” into the killing of gangster-turned politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf in April 2023.
