Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited has entered the energy storage sector by manufacturing battery-grade aluminum foil. The company believes that with the growing lithium-ion production capacity in India from 2024 to 2030, they will be a key supplier of raw materials to these plants. They are currently in the trial phase with upcoming lithium-ion battery companies and expect commercial orders to start flowing in by the first quarter of next year.
Kolkata-based company Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited has announced its entry into the energy storage sector with battery-grade aluminum foil. The company, which already produces and exports aluminum foil for various applications, will now produce high-purity aluminum foil for lithium-ion cells used in electric vehicles and energy storage systems.
On Comex, gold futures were trading at $1,949 per troy ounce on Monday, up by $3.30 or 0.17% while silver futures were at $23.455, lower by $0.069 or 0.30%.
The MCX October gold futures were trading up by Rs 106 or 0.18% from the Thursday closing price at Rs 58,694 per 10 gram on the MCX while the December Silver futures were trading at Rs 71,433 per kg, higher by Rs 451 or 0.64%.
On Comex, Gold futures were trading at $1,934 per troy ounce on Thursday, down by $1.10 or 0.06% while Silver futures were at $23.215, higher by $0.187 or 0.800%.
The MCX October gold futures were trading down by Rs 91 or 0.16% from the Tuesday closing price at Rs 58,535 per 10 gram on the MCX while the December Silver futures were trading at Rs 71,497 per kg, higher by Rs 437 or 0.61%.
NiftyIT salvaged some pride with gains of nearly 1% even as 13 out of 15 sectoral indices ending in the red. NiftyPharma closed with minor gains. The top gainers were TCS, Larsen & Toubro, Infosys, UltraTech Cement and Divi's Laboratories while the top losers included BPCL, NTPC, Power Grid, Adani Enterprises and Coal India
On Comex, Gold futures were trading at $1,946.60 per troy ounce on Monday, up by $3.90 or 0.20% while Silver futures were at $23.300, higher by $0.126 or 0.540%.
