Prime Minister Narendra Modi accused the Congress and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) of corruption, stating that the family-based parties have hindered the progress of Telangana. He claimed that the state wants a change of government and a clean administration. Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stones of infrastructure projects worth ₹13,500 crore during his visit to Mahbubnagar.
The PM's speech is also likely to dwell on development that took place in the country during the past nine years under the NDA government. Besides the rally, Modi will virtually lay the foundation stone and launch several developmental projects worth more than Rs 13,500 crore, party sources said.
